There's actually no way to describe a true single-stroke vector font in PostScript or TrueType, so no normal program can do it. The only way I know of to do this is by using AutoCAD and its built-in lettering. The real challenge, incidentally, isn't stencil fonts - because they consist of closed loops, they are not difficult to digitize - but single stroke fonts, such as the ones you'd want if you wanted to write very fine lettering on a surface in vector mode. (It may only exist in the programming for whatever machine at Boeing cuts their stencils, for all I know.) As far as I know it's not publicly available and may not even be available as a font.
The ne plus ultra of stencil fonts, as far as I'm concerned, is the one Boeing uses on the exterior of its aircraft, which is close but not the same as the Aerorelix one above. There are three widths: Proxima Nova, Proxima Nova Condensed, and Proxima Nova Extra Condensed. The original six fonts (three weights with italics) have been expanded to 48 full-featured OpenType fonts. At worst, it's inoffensive, which is more than you can say for the built-in Windows "Stencil" font, which looks like it should be on the outside of some ACME crates ordered by Wile E.
